Resource overview

This essay / exemplar is listed under Human Rights in the 2015 examination archive. The catalogue session is May 2015. The information below helps you identify the document before opening the complete PDF. Subject, year and session labels come from the archive catalogue; the original cover remains the reference if a label differs. A file is not automatically suitable for your current syllabus simply because its subject name matches.

For coursework research, read this document as a reference rather than a template to submit. Notice how the question, evidence and explanation connect. If a paired commentary or subject report is available, compare it with the original work instead of assuming a polished essay received a particular mark. Historical examples may belong to an earlier assessment framework.

The public preview contains file information and, where reliable text extraction is available, a limited opening excerpt. It is not a summary of unseen questions or a replacement for the original document. Create a free email account to read or download the complete file. No payment is required to unlock this archive resource.

This original usage overview is based on the archive metadata. It does not claim to summarise the complete file.

International Bacc,,lau1 Malthouse """''"'"''"" Cardiff has been a superbly well organised EE student; it has been a privilege to work with her. She drove the process from beginning to end, raising questions regularly and keeping me to a schedule of brief check-in meetings between the longer, more formal ones. She needed very little direction from me at any stage, having established research paths, both written and digital, herself through contacts outside school; she raised issues which took her way beyond the range of her essay; and she argued her case and defended her position clearly at all times. Although she had to adapt and change her initial ideas, and she found that matters were much more complex than she had imagined, she was questioning, open minded and reflective throughout the process, and her viva demonstrated how deeply the EE has affected both her understanding and her attitude to life. Her knowledge of human rights terminology has increased, though is still perhaps a little limited, but her handling of the material has been thoughtful and sensitive. 4-$
